Caleb Ankeney
My Story
This is Caleb, a fun-loving 7-year-old who loves video games, making people laugh, and being a kid. In September 2025, our world changed when he was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). Overnight, our lives became filled with hospital stays, chemotherapy, clinic visits, and learning a whole new language of cancer treatment.
Caleb has faced every challenge with incredible courage. There have been hard days filled with pain, exhaustion, and uncertainty, but he continues to amaze us with his resilience. Even after difficult treatments, he still finds reasons to smile, play, and remind us what true strength looks like.
Today, Caleb is in maintenance treatment, and while the journey isn’t over, we’re so thankful for how far he’s come. Every milestone is a reminder of the hope we’ve been given through his doctors, nurses, family, friends, and everyone who has prayed for him and supported us.
Childhood cancer has changed our lives forever, but it has also shown us the power of love, faith, and community. We hope Caleb’s story brings hope to other families beginning this journey and reminds everyone why continued awareness and research are so important.
We are so proud of our brave warrior. No matter what lies ahead, Caleb will always be our hero.
Cancer may be part of Caleb’s story, but it will never define who he is. He is funny, kind, stubborn, brave, and so deeply loved. Watching him fight this battle has been the greatest privilege and the hardest experience of our lives. We couldn’t be more proud to be his parents.
