Levi Johnson

Levi was 3 when he was diagnosed with leukemia in September of 2025. He is 4 now. He is on a 2.5-year chemotherapy plan. We drive him to Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. It’s a long drive for us. I think it’s 110 miles round trip.

Last summer, Levi was jumping on the trampoline with his sisters and started limping shortly after. That was the first symptom we noticed. Then he started saying he was cold all the time, and his skin started getting pale.

When he was diagnosed, it was like a bomb was dropped on our family. We have no family history of cancer, so this was not on our radar.
